How you feed Stress-Less depends on the nature of your dog’s problem. The quantity and feeding regime can be adjusted to suit each individual dog.
The basic recommended feeding amount is 1ml or 1 tablet per 10kg dog weight per day.
Start by feeding a half amount for three days to allow your dogs’ digestion to adjust.
How much Stress-Less your dog needs will depend on the individual and the situation. If you do not see a result after a week at the full feeding rate, you can increase the amount. Particularly nervous dogs are likely to require more.
For dogs which struggle with general anxiety it is best to give some morning and evening. If it is for a more specific problem, give the whole amount at once two hours before it is needed.
For times of extra stress you can increase the feeding rate; start by giving extra the day before and give up to a double amount two hours before.
You do not have to feed Stress-Less every day if your dog does not require it. If you only need the benefit of Stress-Less for specific periods e.g. during fireworks or when going to a show, start by giving a small amount a few days before and then build gradually to the amount required.
Over the fireworks period you will probably want to give twice the recommended amount two hours before dark (or when you know the fireworks will start). For dogs that get very stressed and remain on edge, you can give an additional amount in the morning.
